I'm heading home to Maryland for the weekend. YAY! The land of blue crabs, Natty Boh, my father, best friends and loved ones... and apparently the possibility of 6-12" of snow! WOW! I was wanting to see snow but I think that might be a bit much. *Fingers crossed it's more like 3" of white fluffy fun*
Dear Mother Nature,
Please see if you can find it in your heart to wait to dump the huge amount of snow until AFTER I get my night out on the town with my girls that I miss so much! Please don't dump on my Saturday night parade. I can deal with missing out on Christmas shopping on Sunday. Drop that mess then. At least I know the roads will be cleared by Monday so I can shop 'til I drop!
Love, Kelly
I hope you all have a great weekend - I will be incommunicado until next Tuesday!
M, if you're reading this, I miss you already and I'll be home soon to you, June and Mr. Angus. oxox
P.S. Tell Angus no skank kitty friends can come to the party!

too funny! were heading to NYC for New Years.. I know its going to be cold, but I would perfer the 50's and dry!
Have a safe trip!!!
yeah.....I wouldn't hold my breath on that storm. Stuff is already announcing closings for tomorrow as a result of the blizzard that's going to be hitting us at midnight tonight. Given that there is a 100% chance of heavy snow precipitation for tomorrow, I say a backup plan maybe in order! We were supposed to celebrate Christmas with my grandparents tomorrow and go to the radio city Christmas spectacular....
So jealous of your snow!
Hope the snow holds off for you. Have a great weekend!
Ahhhh Kell....I hate to tell you this, but I just saw a map where we are in the 12+ inch swath of snow. :)
I don't think it will be THAT bad, but weather dudes are saying no less than 6". I hate the fact that I'm probably going to miss you on this trip! :(
Have safe travels! I'll text you while you're here. :)
Yeah, I'm with you. I'm in MD but have to head out to NYC to pick up my oldest from JFK...at midnight. Yeah, I'm praying with ya' girl. Have a safe trip.
I thought the whole point of wearing those super classy thigh-high boots on girls night out was to protect your legs from the elements? You know, the ones with the stilettos that double as an ice pickax if need be?
HAVE FUN!!!!
Have a safe and fun trip!!!
Happy Holidays!
xoxo,
Blair
bwahaha - SO true Jay! Definitely. I survived the snow blizzard of 2009 in Maryland and I'm back in the Shoals safe and sound. I was so happy to see snow but I think Mother Nature misunderstood my desire to see it and how strong it was. I could have done with 3" instead of almost three feet!
