I love when I get items I ordered come in the mail. Today was a big day for deliveries. I haven't been shopping a lot, just purchasing items I sort of need, and maybe a few I want. Today American Eagle came through with speedy shipping. I'm almost positive I ordered 2 pairs of workout pants and a flannel on Wednesday. Here it is FRIDAY and they arrived. No rush shipping, I always do free/standard. So let's just say AE is back in my good graces and I'm going to let the fact that some of the shirts I purchased this past summer shrunk on me... go. For now.
I also received a t-shirt I purchased 1-because I was lusting over it (make that Fan Girling), and two because I wanted something "Fan" like to wear to Comic Con next weekend in Nashville. Behold, my Dean Winchester "Salt" t-shirt. I'm in love! Thanks Red Bubble!

IT'S FREAKING FRIDAY! Seriously. It's been a long week. I wasn't feeling well earlier this week. Over the weekend I had a mishap with baby Jesus' stable. Yes, you read that correctly. In a quick and feverish attempt to get drag out our Halloween/Fall decorations for the house, I started pulling on the box holding these items and thus caused a trickle down effect from the top of the closet. Before I knew what happen sweet little Baby Jesus in a golden loin cloth's damn stable came crashing down on my face, cutting me slightly (very slightly) and bruising my temple. Nice right? I think I must have cursed his father when this happened. I say GAWD DAYUMN it a lot. I'm trying to correct that. Living in the bible belt I understand it's offensive, I still don't know why per say. I'm not damning the big guy upstairs, I'm damning the EFFING object that fell on my face, understand? So yeah... not sure if my love of Halloween is haunting me with this event or if I just have to find a more suitable storage place for Baby J's birthplace. Either way, I'm a walking calamity, clearly.
FALL CANDLES!!! I've been trying my best to find a candle that smells like fall. Not pumpkins, not cinnamon, not apples or cider, but literally like fall. A walk in the woods, crisp leaves. Fresh air. It's been hard and I still haven't made this happen, but in the process I did stumble across a scent that I'm pretty much in love with. I have tried for years to find a Fire Side, or Camp Fire scented candle that didn't smell like men's cologne to me. Why is that so hard? And also while I'm on this topic, why is it so difficult to find candle that smells like the beach? Is it just me or do they ALL smell like SOAP, instead of salt water and sea breezes? Where was I? Oh yeah, favorite new candle.
I found it at Bath and Body Works. After of course stuffing my nose in EVERY Pumpkin, Apple, Cinnamon, Smells like a Man candle... I found a happy medium. It smells like equal parts campfire and sweet marshmallows. If you like either of these things then run to find this at your local BBW store. Seriously it's perfect for fall and will last into other season, unless you're like me and burn them right away.
