facebook fan club & easter

I'll be the first to admit I have no clue what I'm doing with this thing but I figured I would start a facebook fan club for Dare to be Domestic. Check it out and add me if you like, I promise to try to figure it out soon!

I hope you all had a lovely Easter weekend. I did! I kept myself busy most of the day but paused when I felt the need for reflection and taking time outs during the weekend to myself. My mother passed away 2 years ago on Saturday. All too often I tend to keep myself busy to get away from pain or facing things, this is something I'm trying to stop doing. M and I did some yard work Saturday afternoon and that made me feel good inside and out - unless you count today. Between bending over to pull weeds, and also taking time to wash my Jeep (squatting to scrub the rims/wheels) & all of the stand-up, sit down moves we did at church on Easter Sunday, my thighs are KILLING ME. Although it's a good feeling - I know I've been working my muscles and off my butt. Both are a big plus in my book!

Easter was wonderful filled with family time with M's family - I'm so thankful to have them in my life.

Happy Monday Everyone - or at least let's pretend it's happy! The sun is shining and I didn't need a jacket this morning so I'm HAPPY about that!

Love your leave a comment blurb. Facebook fan club? How can we possibly keep up with all these social networking sites, uh? We must have jobs and eat, and do somthing other than be chained to the keyboard.

I'm going to become a fan. I know what you mean - I hit up an auction Saturday & Sunday I did some yardwork - my body is dying today - it sucks to get old! When did 27 become so hard on my body!

Sorry to hear about your mom - I am glad you took the time to reflect this weekend. Happy Monday indeed - if we believe it, it has to happen!

Agreed Vic - Positive thinking!!!

Annie - Trust me at age 33 I'm wondering where all my GET UP AND GO, GOT UP AND WENT TO! ;) I can't wait to hear about your finds!

Bumpkin - Girl I'm chained to a keyboard all. day. long. for my job. So when I get home I tend to only spend maybe an hour tops online - unless I'm sucked into a great blog then it takes me a little longer! :) I'm so happy you found mine! I love yours!

Am I the only one who can't see the font on this blog? Is it my computer?

Or am I just suddenly losing my eyesight.

Weird.

Anyhow, I am already a fan, babycakes!

Meredith that tidbit made my day! This is my 2nd jeep that I've owned. I had my first one when I went away to college (I wrecked my Eclipse and my dad gave me his old work Jeep)... THENNNNN I later got my BMW, paid that puppy off and loved every moment of having him until I moved here to BFE and no one close by knew how to care for my BMW :( Sadly I had to give him up and got a Jeep instead. I really, really love Jeeps.

Sorry about the loss of your mother.

It always feels good to get outside and get something done, even if your thighs hurt later!

So, do I need a Jeep to get into this exclusive club or what?

Kelly @ turned UP to ELEVEN! said...

No way Cathy - the jeep is just our company car but your sass is what I love so you're in! ;)
